I took the stock kickstart lever , cut it in half , over lapped by 3/4" and welded which made the lever 1.5" shorter.
Fits perfect between pipe and frame and is stronger with the welded center.

FREE mod if you have a good welder. :grin:

i read to use a 89 kx125 lever and the stock kdx knuckle. its SUPPOSED to fit..lol

A $10 weld job sounds like a simple and effective fix to me.

is the stock kicker a cast steel material?
