I purchased some of these grips to try and they are great. I don't know how I rode without them. They are half waffle, available in two compounds and super comfortable. They are not to pricey either. Plenty of colors available also. You guys should give them a try next time you need grips.

My dual-compound Renthal grips have wore through one of the compound layers so I'm ready for a fresh set. This isn't the first time I've heard good things about these grips so I think I'll try 'em -

thanks for the feedback thrasher!

I've been running progrip grips for the last 2 years. I've run the 791's and like them. I am currently running the 799 in green and really like them also.

I change them every other year or so, ~1000-1500miles. It came with them, I have installed 2 pairs since then (2003).

I checked their site and the only full waffle they have look strange compared to Scott and the other brands I've had in the past. Has anyone tried these:

Anyone ever tried the 793s (I think that's the number)? We have a whole bunch in the shop right now and I'm thinking about picking up a set. If not I'm going with my lovely spiders.
