Polisport armadillo pipe guard
I think this guard is a very good option for pipe protection. It has a stainless spine with a heavy rubber over mold that will disperse a hit. It doesn’t add much weight and it will fit various pipes. My pipe is the gnarly rev.

I've been thinking about adding this one to my GasGas. I've read where the rubber can get torn easily but I like it better than any carbon fiber or aluminum pipe protector I've seen. Thanks for the review!

Re: Polisport armadillo pipe guard
The rubber is quite tuff and if it gets damaged from a fall and the pipe is ok then it did it’s job. Honestly it would have to be a fall on rock, asphalt or something else hard that could damage it in my opinion.

Put a few hundred miles on the bike with pipe guard. Haven’t taken any hits but it’s been great other wise. Through the woods with briers, branches, etc.
