Sounds like I will have to give it a try. From time to time you need something for a base line for bad beer.

Light is good for quantity, dark for quality. :partyman:

I like Sam Adams Light. It does not taste the same as more popular US light beers.

Three letters I.P.A. Personal preference is Dogfish Head 60 or 90 minute (out of Delaware take a look at the alcohol content)........Just try it you'll see. Quality over quantity, I'm with you Bates.

I find it entertaining that this is in product reviews, lol. Yeah, Fosters is not very good. I'll buy a couple of those big cans when the gas station has them onsale 2 for 2 bucks. Bells Oberon is good stuff....

WOW! I have had one in the fridge for 3 months that I have never got around to opening. How do you like it?!

JulienD, the Foster's was a $2, 750ml can from the grocery store.

Also, thanks for getting a chuckle out of the product review. As I drank it, I felt compelled to forewarn other forum members.

How big is the Bell's? It looks like the opening is at the bottom.

Fosters is good on draft, but horrible any other way, IMO.

Bells makes good stuff. I love their Two Hearted Ale. Flying Dog, Lagunitas, Founders all make some of my regulars.

I think that's like a mini keg. I usually buy it in a sixxer of bottles. One of my faves lately.

I liked the New World a lot! I also tried the Stoney Brook Red. That almost tasted like wine (it's real fruity) and would be great with a meal. Definatley not a Pretzel and Chips beer.

As long as its cold any beer is good, I don't have a problem with Fosters even if it is Aussy beer and I live in NZ (usually we are Aussy knockers). Each to their own cheers mike from NZ (Steinlager is the bomb) Rum is even better.
