ProGrip Goggles

Post by m0rie »

My wife got me a pair of ProGrip googles for Fathers Day to replace my dying Scotts Googles. I'm hooked, they rock! The foam is about twice as thick as the Scotts and keeps the goggles planted on my face. They come out of the box with transition, antifog lenses. Very nice quality frame.

Cool looking! The thick foam is nice. When I was your age... the goggle foam was not so thick. My current goggles are from around '92. They are better than my late '80's ones that were even less foam.

The thick foam is really nice. Its kinda got this triple layer of foam. There are two large layers of cushie closed cell foam and a thin layer of super tight foam sandwiched between them. Seems to work really well. The helmet strap also has rubber strips that keep the strap from moving around.

Yup, I can second that m0rie! I don't go anywhere without my 3400 / Army goggs. Not real expensive either...
