Would a kmx 125 carb fit a kdx 125 ?

Just wondering as I can't source a kdx carb cheap but there's a lot of kmx carbs going or any other carbs ? Form the kx s

Not sure which carb came with the KMX as that's not a model we got here in the states, but from what I have read, the KMX is just a street version of the KDX, so you should be able to use the carb no problem, albeit with some jetting work. If it's a PJ or PE carb though I'd spend the time looking for a PWK 26. The PJ carbs are a PITA to adjust and maintain.

Hi...old bikes means old carbs,...what i do if the oem carb give me trouble i change it to a new Keihin pwk air striker carb....depending the model....if i where you i would consider a KTM 150SX carb from Ebay...they will fit nice and will work excellent. ...

There are a couple of kdx 125 carbs on eBay UK right now....

A Yamaha DT carb may fit , also a kmx item too but you'll need to measure the intake & reed block boot & compare the sizes from the DT carb to ensure it fits..... Jetting will also need looking at...

I'd try to purchase the correct carb first before messing around with another non standard item...

You should be able to pick up a kdx carb from either the UK or Europe as they were popular there also.

Just as a matter of interest the carb from the KMX 200 is exactly the same size as that of the KMX 125, ( 26mm) so if you can't find a 125 carb then look for the 200
