I was just given a CEK and JD red and blue needles. Reading all I can about needles, tapers, etc, I can 'kinda' understand their effect on rich/lean, etc. and I am fairly competent with jetting. That said, I'm curious as to what each of these needles will do to the way the bike runs? IE: smoother, more hit, more top end, etc. I think the bike runs very good for a stocker right now, just wanting to experiment a bit, and looking for the smoothest powerband. Is there a generally accepted 'best' needle for a stock 200?
Stock 2006 200 w/airbox lid removed. Just added Boyeson reeds (the stockers looked brand new). No other mods at the time. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
What will these needles do for me?

Re: What will these needles do for me?
If you don't like the JD needles after trying them, let me know if you would be interested in selling them.
The JD needles were my favorite in an AS carb. I've now got an RB AS and am curious how they would do with this carb.
I haven't used a stock needle is so long that I can't help you with comparisons.
