Winter Jetting

Post by kdxquebec »

200 KDX 1989

Just came back from winter preparation of my KDX. I was running 158 main/45 pilot this summer with r1172 needle second clip from top, Air screw 2 turns out (maybe  )

For winter riding in the 32F to ZERO F- range :

I installed a 165 main /48 pilot with same needle but at middle clip, air screw 1 turn out (maybe  )

What do you guys think? Bike ran fine last winter with this setup, just need an approval

Sounds a little fat but if it ran fine last year it should be at least good this year. Better rich than lean.
