Are 90-94 forks same as 95-05?

Are there any differences between the forks on the 90-94 200 and the later models?

89-92 are conventional forks which the springs are different from the 93-94 USD forks which are different than the 95 and up springs but the 89-92 and 95 and up springs are interchangeable.

Make sense?

Makes perfect sense, that's what I was after, although on the specs info the springs for have a slightly different code (same number but one is an a/e and another a/c or something like that).

BTW, is there any way in which the 89-92 and 98^ forks are different?

if you're looking for stock spring from 95-05 era, I got some that I'd let go for cheap, you pay for shipping and it's out of my garage.

Well... the preload spacers on 95 and up forks are too big to begin with... you only want 5-8mm of preload on the springs....

the item i'm looking at is called an 'Amp Research Fork Preload Kit' and apparently suitable for 90-94 forks, although this can't be correct as 93-94 are usd. Has anyone ever heard of this kit? Any guesses whether it will fit a 97 220.

Yes, i read about the pvc. the kit includes progressive springs that are firmer than standard.

Looking at the microfiche, it seems that the two sets of forks are almost identical.

I also have hard of amp and find nothing when i google, however the kit is cheap.
