I have spare (hardly used) 2000 KDX 200 forks. I've looked all over the forums and cannot find anything about these old bikes.

I'd like to swap out the old 1983 KDX 250 forks with the 2000 KDX 200 forks.



Can someone provide any information on their experience?

Ill only tell you wavy everyone else will - spare forks or not, it's not worth it...

Significant improvements have been made from 1983 to 2000. The stock 2000 front-end including disk brake seems to be an attractive upgrade for a 1983.

The drum brake has almost killed me a few times.
