i just purshase a 01 kx 125 set of forks and i want to push the stem out .

do i need to push on the tread side or on the bottom, and to put the kdx stem on the kx bottom clamp push on the tread or enter the stem by the bottom
KDX 220 2001 =)

Don'T drink and drive...just give some gas and fly :D

The stems get pressed out the bottom of the T-clamps and to re-install you press the stem up through the bottom of the T-clamp.

Depending on the year of your KDX, some stems need to be knurled to fit the KX T-clamp and others need a little machined off (about 3 mm) so the lower bearing will seat against the lower T-clamp.
