Yep... same process... they work just fine! The springs are just heavier and usually not ideal for the KDX.

thanks, I found some 2002 forks and triple on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-KAW ... 0528821626 for 149 buy it now and they look to be in good shape. I'm not in a huge rush, so I will keep looking for a nice set of 125 forks. Do you happen to know what springs are in the 125 and 250 forks? I'm about 170ish in full gear, so I'm sure the 125 forks would be a better fit

Well... mine are 03's and have .42 springs in them. I know 250's are heavier than that and would definately need to be changed for me. 42's are on the edge of being too stiff for me.

So, with 125 forks you probably will not have the extra expense of having to buy new springs for them.

Good to know...I wonder if FRP is still buying the stock kdx forks. That would help out quite a bit with the budget.

Inda,

Can you take a look at the forks in the link above and let me know if you think there are any potential issues. 150 seems like a really good deal even if I have to put some softer springs in them.

Thanks,

John

That's $185 after it's all said and done. I would hold out for a set of 125 forks. I bought a brand new set for $200 shipped. Others have bought sets for under $100 shipped.

Just sayin....

I'm not saying they are not any good.... just seems a little pricey after seeing what others have bought theirs for....
