Everything fits, just a matter of moving the stem over and some other work, do a search, others have done it. Ultimately, the newer the better, the 1995 upside downs are not really much better than the KDX forks and they have a fair amount of overhang. If your looking for functionality, 99-01's are the best place to start for the money, newer are better and more money, but many have done the 99-01's including myself and it is a pretty easy mod and well supported (like Ron Black makes the spacer you need for the top triple etc). If you just want upside downs, or are doing for a more modern look, the 95's will certainly work fine.
