proper spring rates for 1993 KDX200

Post by asg5265 »

Does anybody know the stock fork spring rate on the inverted 1993 kdx200 fork? I am about 125-130lbs ready to ride and I need to know if a spring swap is inevitable. Is the valving appropriate for my weight and skill level of novice and desert racing?

That should be fine for your weight.... Just made sure you change the oil in the forks.

Like inda said perfect for your weight. Problem with the stock KDX suspension is the fact that it's unbalanced. Most have to change their fork springs. You might want to change your shock spring...They are more for a 180ish lb rider.
