You could get a KX500 frontend and it is a direct bolt on....

I have a set of 2003 KX 125/250 USD forks. The KDX stem is pressed into the KX lower clamp with lower bearing installed. also have machined shim/spacer for top of KDX stem and top clamp. comes with KX wheel, rotor, axle and spacers. I cant find the axle nut but im looking for it. the left fork leg has a LIGHTSPEED carbon fiber fork guard with brake cable clamp on it so you can use your KDX front brake line routing and setup.

I have not been inside fork tubes. they need new seals/ complete overhaul if it were me. If they have original springs, I believe they are .44kg/mm the base valve shims may need some adjustment or some gold valves. but like I said, have not been inside of them. they could already have some aftermarket parts in them but my guess would be no.

other issue is building up your bump stops for gas tank/top clamp clearance.

I forget how to post pics here...worms eating my brain I think...I can email pics, I have forks mounted on an 04 frame with KDX front brake setup .

Hey Vince, how does one do that picture upload thing again??

Hi, new guy here.
Nothing has to be done to install the 500 frontend, no swapping of stems or machine work? I have a complete 02 KX500 roller and was going to part it out, but now I may keep the front end if it requires no machining or stem swapping.

That's what Inda said! "Bolt on!"
