'96 to '02 fits a 96 KX frontend. a '93 will not.

According to my sources, the '93 - '98 front hub is the same part number. You may want to check http://www.buykawasaki.com to check on the parts numbers.

I didn't say it would fit. 
I just said the hub is the same. You can check front brake pad year model fit and other stuff to help see if it may fit. Most of the axle parts were for '93 - '98 also. Checking buykawasaki.com is the way to go, usually. Just open one window with one bike and open another window with the other bike and start trying to match.
