Will 1994's work

Looking at a pair of 94 forks are they what I want for the conversion. Or should I look for a newer pair. They woulkd be going on an 04 200 thanks

Thats what I thought, bidding on some 98's. But theres a set of 94's for 80$ plus 25$ on E***

94 KX forks would be a good size improvement, but a '96+ model would be much worth the money.

I have a set of 1994 KX 125 forks on my 1995 KDX - vast improvement over stock. But yes, the newer forks (96+) would probably provide better action.

am curious about this to have a 94 kdx with stock usd wondering is 93kx forks would be much improvment (might b a cheap kx125 with sick motor nearby)

I used '96 forks on my kdx conversion ('04 kdx). They are worlds better than the stock forks. I believe '96 is the first year for the 46 mm fork tubes, so they would probably flex less than older forks.

I would try to find the best condition forks you can. Most older forks will probably need new seals and possibly bushings. Make sure you factor this into your cost equation.
