Looks nice !
When you get it installed let us know if the upper clamp
clears the gas tank..

You must be about 7' tall to need that step ladder mounted
on your clamp.

@Fuzzy:

The clamp:

The elevators:

Where I bought:
http://www.langstonracing.com/

@TWWoody:
I bought some risers from 25mm to 55mm and I will use my favorite when everything will be in the bike.

I have an IMS gas tank, so I prefer the Zeta because the bolts are in the side of the clamp and not front/rear like the KX stock. It will give extra clearance. :razz:

I wonder if those risers would work w/ my applied clamp.

I started the conversion tonight.

GOOD NEWS!!!
The 2001 KDX220 galiper fits the 2005 KX125 fork.
The brakeline is fine too.

The KDX was pressed on the KX clamp and fits the headtube very well with an additional spacer.

Some foil on the clamp around the stem and everything will be ready to ride;) :supz:

LOL.

I know....

But my friend is a awesome mechanical man and he used «metal foil» (I don't know the real word in english...) and it will fit very well.

He took the measure (millimeters) of the space between the clamp and the stemp and uses metal of the same dimension. :lol:

I will post pictures soon.... :mrgreen:

Ach! For shame, plb....for shame... :grin:

Not everyone can have an engineering bitch to design whatever part he needs. I, however, am one of the the unlucky few!

I noticed on your fork guards there is already a place for a brake line holder... Where did you get the fork guards?

It's stock with a KX125 2005 fork.

Pictures soon... too much work in the garage, no time for the kodak LOL.

cost of conversion?

Posted: 12:40 pm Apr 18 2008
by plb
In canadian dollars:

Race Tech Gold Valves 170$
Factory Connection 0,38kg springs 160$
Motion Pro Air Bleeder 20$
Factory Effex stickers 20$
Devol KX front disc guard 80$

knurling = free (done by my friend)

The brand new fork, axle, front wheel, disc, clamp from ebay 800$ with shipping and custom duty.

I sold my Race Tech KDX stock springs, my KDX front wheel and Devol KDX front disc guard for 150$.

So, over 1000$.

+ Zeta clamp
+ Renthal Fat Bar
+ Moose handguards
+++++

Well, I LOVE my bike and invest on it LOL
