Revalving KYB forks

Post by TWMOODY »

Just got done doing a complete overhaul on my KX forks.
Race Tech Springs/Gold Valves/bushings and seals.
.46 kg springs/12 on both clickers/7.5 mm preload
cL 7/ cH5 on the revalve and converted the mid valve.
85mm oil level.
Very good experience !
Made all the tools with a 9/16 bolt and three nuts, 2" pvc
and a differential gear lube hand pump and brake line to set fluid level.
I think I might throw some studs in the tires to ride on Lake St.Clair.
I also used the hand pump to bleed the KX caliper and hose I put on the front and it worked very good.

Revalving is easy if you take the time to learn and follow the instructions.
