RMZ TWIN CHAMBERED SHOWAS'

Post by Sport »

I have been shopping around trying to make up my mind on which brand to use on my bike KX, RMZ OR OTHER . I ran into a deal I count not refuse, just bought a complete front end off 05 RMZ 250. Forks have performance valving already done. Paid $600 shipped to me.
Should have parts within the next week, from there its a simple swap of steering stem and mount onto bike. Will have to some tweaking of front fender, turning stops and a little engineering on front plate/light and all should be swell! OOPS, route brake line too. :partyman:

Anyone have any other possible hang ups related to the conversion? If so please chime in?

The process should be pretty much the same. Let us know how it turns out.

A favorite harp of mine...but..

Measure what 'level' is on your bike before you start. That's the only way you will get it back TO 'level' when you're done.

A bike that is going uphill just sitting there isn't going to work nearly as well as one that is properly balanced.

Hope you have room to move the Showas up far enough to GET the bike balanced. Them forks be tall!

Good luck.

Post some pics!!
