87 Steering Stem

Post by saddletramp »

Anyone know if a 87 200 stem would fit a 2000 H-series? I would rather use it and keep my H-series stem and clamps together. It would be going in 97 KX 125 clamps.

BTW Thanks for the forks Strider :prayer: :supz:

I am pretty sure that old stem would have worked. I know the bearing size is the same, it is even a little shorter so I don't think a spacer would be needed. The configuration is a little different though, instead of being fastened with a nut the top clamp is fastened down with a bolt threaded into the inside of the stem.
