Newbie question, how much fork oil to buy?

How much fork oil should I buy to refill my 1997 KX125 forks? From the scattered posts I found it sounds like 2qts will do it.
How much for a 2000 KDX200 shock?

I believe you can get by with 1 qt if the level is not too high. On my 01's which are larger than yours I used 2 oz out of my second qt. runnin 120 mm

Maybe 2 qts will do my forks and shock.

Be careful there. Shock oil and cartridge fork oil can be different. Call an expert first. I could NOT use my Golden Spectro 85/150 cartridge fork oil in my shock.

Oh wow, I did not even think about that. I was planning on using Amsoil Shock Therapy.

Call em just to sure. I talked to the G Spectro guy and he proceeded to inform me that there was a difference. I also based my valving on the GS 85/150 oil as well. If I would have used a heavier oil I would had to shimmed it differently.
