Hey just wanted to let everyone know that if you have a good welder, We built up the old KX steering stem with a a few passes of weld wire, then turned it to the correct Diameter. Alowing approx .0015 interference fit. We also flapper peened it to reset the integrity of the metal, Chilled it with a bit of dry ice and damn she fit right up to the lower TT. Also did the same up top to eliminate the need for the .025 shim. This was an 93 KX125 fork set up going on a 06 KDX. should complete the conversion in the next 2 weeks. Will keep ya posted. P.S. Have a grand total of 190.00 including wheel and new Rebuild forks and a spare KDX TT so my KDX Front end stays intack. Still need a new tire. So make it 240.00 all said and done.. Thank you Ebay.!!
