I cant see why it isnt hitting the tank?? Isnt it suppose to?

It is really close but it doesnt hit

My prediction is it will hit when you crash or jolt the bars hard to either side. My top clamp just barely touches the tank but it's enough to leave a mark on both sides of the tank. A piece of aluminium bent around the steering stop held on with silicon is the best option IMHO. I heated and indented my tank but it's basically taken it original shape over time.

Honestely it looks like you can leave it. Anyone think it will hurt the tank if it does bump on impact? My guess is no...

it is very close but not touching at all. So maybe i will leave it and see what happens. I just wanted to see if anyone elese did not have the problem of the forks hitting the tank.
