These forks came with the 200 I recently purchased, the previous owner inherited them from the owner before him and is not sure what they're from. I'd like to swap these as a winter project but yeah I need to know what they are first!
TIA

Re: KX fork identification help!!
I smell Yamaha.
Do some legwork on that fork guard, then report back. I think 2004 was the first year for 48 mm on Yamaha.
You almost had me thinking they were KX Forks. I got to watch you. :-)

Re: KX fork identification help!!
They could be 2004 YZ or 200x WR. 2005 and newer YZ125 and YZ250 have dual chamber forks.
EDIT ADD ON: See about 2005 - 2006 WR250F / WR450F. I am not sure if / when the WR line went to twin chamber.

Yep. Look on eBay for used forks that match.

Re: KX fork identification help!!
Well I think Im going to do the yz fork swap, i discovered the new triple clamps that they came with already have a kdx stem pressed in, so yeah thats easy now. I have the wheel and everything.
I need to get the forks sent off and overhauled first but i will update this when possible.
