If they are YZ250FX forks, I'd imagine they'll be off-road valving, not motocross valving, like the RMX250, CRF250X, and Yamaha's own 2-stroke YZ250X woods version of the YZ250 motocrosser.
If just plain YZ250 or YZ250F forks (motocross models), you can ride them on smoother off-road trails, but the ride quality will be significantly lacking compared to even stock KDX forks, unless you are riding warp speed with the class or a class racer skills to wear stiff suspension like that is needed to float through thin air in between the bumps. Take note that generally only young teenage & 20-something racers and aggressive trail riders in their 20's will be able to enjoy that kind of ride quality harshness for any duration.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to see if I can find out which YZ (or possibly WR) they're off of.Chuck78 wrote: ↑09:29 am Oct 13 2023 If they are YZ250FX forks, I'd imagine they'll be off-road valving, not motocross valving, like the RMX250, CRF250X, and Yamaha's own 2-stroke YZ250X woods version of the YZ250 motocrosser.
