Just managed to pick up a set of 1996 KX 125 forks. Hopefully this set will not be a dud like my last set.

Good price, I hope they work out. don't remember the year of you other ones, maybe some of the parts will interchange so you have some spares.

Good luck,

Awesome m0rie, good price. Will the triple clamps work from the last set?

I just came back from my 1st hard day of biking since my conversion (and this year) and absolutely love the kx forks. I'm 5'10 aprox. 165lbs give or take.

98 KX 125 forks cleaned and rebuilt with:
.39 springs
7 wt. oil Yep that's 7 wt.
compression 10 clicks out
rebound 12 clicks out
forks up 5/8" in the clamps
lowered rear 1/2" with custom links
95mm rear race sag

KDX wheel, caliper, and custom axle, lovin' it.

I'm sure it could get better and I am not usually one to say it is good enough, but it is going to be hard to get things MUCH better. These forks are one of the best mods I have done yet, next to the MX fender of course . Thanks to all you conversion pionneers for the useful info, I really owe it to you guys :partyman: .

Make sure you geeet er dun before the snows gone!
