The picture with the forks disassembled has the white plastic ring in the lower left corner. Removing that is easy and it disables the bladder. I removed the bladders also which are the black rubber tubes also in that picture. Jason would know whether removing the white ring is all that needed or removing the bladders helps also. Servicing them in the future will be easier (cleaner anyway) without the bladders.

Yeah, either way they say.

I put some 2000 KX125 forks on my friends KDX with an Emig Racing stem.

I pulled the bladders, but read later one could just do the white plastic ring.

Oil level and quantity are affected by pulling the bladders.

Ah righto. My bladders are long gone. I was reading it was something on the rebound valve that needed to be ground into a petal shape.

I have since worked out the barrier is the white ring. Or you just put a washer under the spring so it doesnt cover the transfer ports.
