I have an 89 kdx200. I've purchased a set of 2000 kx250 front forks. Where can I find the article on the valve modifications for woods riding? Thanks, I've looked all over..

Re: USD forks
Look up disable or remove the bladder.
The base valve should be softened. Surely someone somewhere has posted a stack. We can make suggestions.
I did a swap for a friend about 11 or 12 years ago with 2000 KX125 forks. I think I modified the float, too.
Look to see if I posted any details back in the day.

Re: USD forks
I'm in the process of making the same swap. In my case I decided to splurge and just have a local, well respected suspension shop rework the forks. I think it will be well worth he cost to me.

Re: USD forks
Would I use the same valve stack combo as is used on the conventional forks?

Re: USD forks
How heavy are you? I'd ride the bike with the new forks before you start making any modifications.
