Hi all
Apologies if this has been asked before but I cant seem to find a complete thread on this conversion. Will this conversion be worth the money spent?
I have an opportunity to purchase a complete front end off an '05 rmz 250. This includes triples, forks, wheel, axle, and brake assembly.
Will this conversion be a simple stem swap as with kx forks or is there extra work that will need to be done?
Also, what setup will be required to make these forks trail ready?

Depending on the lower triple, some machining may need to be done along with the stem swap. You'll need the upper triple spacer as well.
I'd recommend taking the forks to a builder to have them set up for woods.
All in all plan on spending a few hundred to make them fit and work right. Yes, they are worth it!

Also, please update your location in your profile with your country, as some bikes are different in different countries.

05 RMZ 250 fork conversion
Apologies, forgot to mention that it's for a 2005 KDX 200.
I am from South Africa so I assume it would be a Euro spec. Wouldn't know if there are any differences to the US spec.
