Fork/hub swap identification

Post by MarioM3 »

I'm trying to figure out which forks are on my 02kdx220. It appears to me that since the odometer gear is there, that its a stock hub/wheel so this would indicate klx forks correct? The axle doesn't seem to be that of a kx. I was unable to find any usable part numbers, any help is greatly appreciated. Here are the pictures:

tiny pictures

If there is only an air valve on top, then they are NOT KX forks. If it is just an air valve (pressure release) in the center, then they are KDX / KLX, if they are Kawasaki forks.
Thank you for participating on kdxrider.net. :bravo:

Thanks Jason. It looks like there is only one screw on the of each fork (looks like a big nut maybe 27mm, and a little screw at one corner of the big nut)

Thanks,
Mario
