I just was reading about putting this in the kx250 forks on my kdx200. How much will I need and where is a good place to buy it? Thanks!

If you have stock kdx forks, you should run a good 7 weight oil.

He's using stock KX forks, not KDX. The Amsoil 5 light is actually a 2.5 wt which reduces the stock MX damping spikes, but still provides good control for trail use. I've had very good results using light 5 with just a compression stack change on the many fork conversions I've done for KDX's.
Don't be fooled by the manufacturer's weight labels, many of the products are very different when tested for flow characteristics, 5 -light is one of them.
A lot of bike shops carry amsoil - but you can get it direct from amsoil

buy two quarts and you'll have a bunch left over.
