Knurled Stem

Again, guys. I think it depends on the year of the clamps used and the stem used. I think some need it and other don't. Gary Emig done my stem swap. He did'nt use any knurling. My clamps are from I think it was a 1997 or 1998 KX 250. I have a 2003 KDX 220. He showed me that the holes were the same inside diameter between the older KX clamp and the 03 KDX clamp. I had to go with a different top clamp, which was his top clamp, it was for a KX 500, can't remember what year. All fit together well.
