Hi, Just checking my torque settings are correct prior to tightening up, (2001 KX 125) forks/clamps/wheel/axle.
Top clamp = 12ft lbs
Bottom clamp = 10ft lbs
Axle Nut = 58ft lbs
Pinch Bolts 14ft lbs
Steering (Top) Nut = 58ft lbs
Do the above sound correct & am I good to go?
Torque settings?

Re: Torque settings?
Those are in the ballpark. My hybrid uses a 2002 KX125 triple (upper and lower) with 2001 KX250 forks (basically the same as the 125 with heavier springs/valving). My values from the manual were:
Top clamp: 14.5 ft-lb
Bottom Clamp: 18 ft-lb
Front Axle: 65 ft-lb
Axle Pinch Bolts: 87 in-lb
Steering Stem Nut: 43 in-lb
Steering Stem Head Nut: 33 ft-lb
I think those are about the same for the KDX as well.
