Fork guard fitment question

Can anyone advise on whether i can fit later lower fork guards onto 2001 kx forks, seems very limited choice of decals for 01 guards! will 03 guards fit or newer, with or without any mods? Thanks

There are several post on this, you can probably do a search and find out what people are using. But most fork guards are very similar and can be moded slightly to make fit.
