KX wheel interchangeability

Post by diymirage »

hey guys

i have replace my front end with that from a 99 KX 125
i am looking to buy a new front wheel for it and i was wondering what years/models i can use?

one i am particulary interested in is the 03 KX 125, i can get a good deal on one (pause for Rbates comment) and i like how the rim seems to match the KDX rim better

i looked both the 99 and the 03 up on the OEM parts list and all the individual parts seem the same but the hub numbers seem to be different

Any front hub from 93-05 KX125, 93-07 KX250, 250F, 450F and even 97-07 KX500 will work. The only thing will be spacers...if you use a 99 fork, then any 99-03 wheel with the stock 99-03 spacers will work. other year hubs you may have to play with the spacers to get them right.
