A buddy of mine sold me these '00 KX 250 forks for $100. The rating sticker is faded out so i'm not sure how they are setup but I'm going to be rebuilding them anyway. I thought it was a good deal so I jumped on it. Anyone using 2000 KX250 forks out there?

I helped a buddy convert his KDX to 2000 KX125 forks (same as KX250, just stiffer springs). I revalved them for him. Be sure to look around the internet for information on converting from the stock o-ring on the midvalve to a spring setup.

What did you end up with for a shim stack and how did it work out for you?

It was a few years ago, and I don't have the valvng specs. I know I changed it to spring setup instead of the o-ring. I want to say I set it up for .4mm float and a softer base valve obviously. I never got to ride it. He liked it, though.
