Not sure, what Im looking to find out is which bikes had 41mm inverted forks and the length. Ive started doing some custom builds of vintage bikes. Ive taken an old elsinore and put modern suspension on it and I have a friend with an old kx wanting me to do it for him. I own a 91 kdx250 and a 97 klx300. I can get the rear swing and shock to work, I just need to find some fork tubes that will work. Thanks in advance!

The KX 500 used a 41 mm inverted fork from 90-93, and the KX 125/250 used them in 90. However, 41 mm is the diameter of the inner tube. Those are very small tubes for inverted forks, the tubes get bigger as you check newer machines. Most internet sellers don't measure their tubes.

I suspect you need the diameter of the outer tube, which is hard to find out unless you have them in front of you to measure. If you find a reference that gives you that kind of info, let us know as many of us would find that useful. I would love to have a Kayaba or Showa Spec. sheet.
