Hey guys. I have 99 KX 125 forks mounted up to the H series.
I have a GPR on another bike I would like to swap back and forth.
GPR says they have the 99KX triple tree mount for the unit but,
don't have the "bolt-on around the head post/tower" to fit the KDX.
They said they have a universal weld on post but "it will be too thick for the clearance between your tank and head." I'm not sure they really know that. I wonder if the guy just guessed and said that??
So how have you conversion guys mounted your dampers? Have you used a weld on post? Did it fit?
I thought that if the post was a little too thick, maybe I could heat the front of the tank and put a depression in it, making the post fit??
Also I wonder.... if a Scotts post will fit a GPR damper? Scotts has a lot more weld on posts to choose from.
Do any of ya'll have some good pics of how you made your post work?
Thanks for your thoughts guys....would really like to get this GPR to work.

Hey Slick....I'm with you. If GPR can't/won't sell me a weld on tower, then I think I'll try and get a Scotts tower to work.
I could really use a "top down" picture of a GPR on some KX triples. I need to make sure that the length of the arm on the damper will work (not too long or short).
