Post by asmed12345 »

What brand front MX style forks would fit into my 2002 KDX 200 easily? Also, where could I get a pair of them??
Please help!!!

87 CR 250 forks would fit the triple clamp. You would have to buy the matching wheel, brake caliper, master cylinder. They are supposed to be very good for off road.

Probably the easiest swap. Can be found on ebay pretty cheap.

It takes a lot more work to put on more modern forks becuse the KDX came with really outdated, skinny fork tubes. Newer ones have bigger, stiffer tubes and don't fit the triple clamps.

And the newer parts cost more...
This is my rifle, this is my gun, the YZ to go fast, the KDX is for fun!

It's not a lot of work. Swap steering stem from kdx lower triple to donor front end lower triple, Bolt on, extend steering stop, ride.

A complete kx500 front end will bolt on with no mods.
