Source for Clamping Hardware / Brake line clamp to fork legs

Post by reiterrider »

Does anyone know where I can get a clamp that I could attach to mount my brake line/speedo cable to my 2001 KX 250 forks?

or if there is a source where I can get a fork guard that comes with the cable mounts.

(I bought the bike already converted and don't have the stock hardware)

Thanks in advance!

FWIW - mine worked great with the brakeline just routed through the slot in the front of the KX250 forkguard. Never once fouled in the spokes like I thought it might. Someone else on here gave me the idea - I wasn't the first.

I reused my factory KDX clamp. I made a small bracket out of some angled aluminum and bolted it to the KX fork guards.

I used fork guards from a 2005 RM that had the tab on the guard already. I just mounted the metal bracket from the KDX forks on the new guards. You can see a pic on my completed from end thread.
