I did a KLX swap, but it only cost me $180, plus some fork oil, new springs, and about 2 hours of my time to modify the shim stack and respring them myself. Since the KLX forks are a direct bolt on, I didn't have any "extras" to worry about. Like SOARSKI, if I were a rider of greater ability I would have probably wanted KX forks, but the KLX ones are valved for trail riding, and let me keep my stock front wheel, trip meter, etc. and did not change the geometry of the bike.
