Leaky seal
My 02 kx forks have oil dripping out of one of them, so I'm thinking time to replace fork seals. I'm not sure if i should tackle this task myself or send them out. I have never been inside a fork before but I do enjoy new challenges. Does anybody have the link for "The idiots guide to replacing fork seals"?

It's right above this post..stickied to the top of this forum.
Cool, 'eh?
Gee...no one answered this 24 hours ago?
My apologies on behalf of all the (other) slackers on this board!
You can save a step by clicking on this!
Do yourself a favor. Buy a seal driver. Spendy, but worth every penny. MotionPro likely your best bet for a pin-aligned, 1/2 split size you need.
Yes. You can make something out of PVC that will work. I have a pic of acutemp's (Dan) version. It was a shock seal driver as I recall, but I'm sure it could be modified to work.
....I bought one'a MotionPro's.....
Specific questions? Please ask.

Yeah..but you didn't change the FONT to make it look like you HADN'T changed it.
I see it! I do I do!!
...now I gotta go see where it goes. Probably to some nasty F-U, Beav!! graphic.
RE: color and lead
What..he's light in the loafers (too?)? Gott'a put some Pb in his tennies?
BTW...how come he (the colour guy) doesn't take the base valve out..to get the damper rod junk out of the way? The diagram he posts shows it coming out as part of a disassembly, but his write-up doesn't mention it.
