Rebound Kits for KDX forks.

Post by Dr. Green »

Anyone ever try these?

http://www.ebrperformance.com/pg3.htm

Scroll down to about the middle of the page.

They sell an adjustable rebound kit for $199 that fits 95'-00' KDX200/220.

And then I found this also.

Might be the same product, not sure. There is a link to the instructions as well. Scroll down about 3/4 and click on the instructions PDF.

I had no idea it could be done so cheap. I was reading about the conversion and it sounds like a lot to go through, compared to the rebound kit. Of course you still have the underhang issue, but I haven't had any problems with that so far. Mostly whoops, sand and fallen trees where I ride. Would be nice to have adjustable rebound. I was really looking for opinions on anyone using the kits.

Those were brought up a few years ago but no one pulled the trigger on them. Your forks will still feel like spagetti and the underhang.

I have seen people pick up forks for $50.... sometimes less.

I got a set of 97 forks for $80 shipped on ebay, and they had racetech valves in them. Those coupled w/ a spare triple tree that I already had and I'm good to go. Of course there's the whole wheel and front axle I haven't gotten yet. But I expect I will have less than $199 in a decent front suspension ... :supz:
