shock spring painting

Post by scheckaet »

Anybody done that?
Mine looks bad, so I'd like to paint it but I'm afraid a "regular" paint would flack because of the spring action.

Do you need some kind of stretchy paint or something?
Thanks

I've been painting springs for four decades. Ordinary spray enamel works just fine. (Lacquer sometimes does flake)
Not easily impressed
