Are there any other 375 to 400 lb KDX riders out there? I'm on an '03 KDX 220, and I'm just an average ability easy trail rider. I like to ride slow to medium speeds and pick my way through the trails. I know I'm too big to jump it hard, but I do like to carry the front end over obstacles.
I'm curious what suspension changes or mods you all have done? What spring rates are you using?

You will need to do some work to the suspension for sure. Stock, the KDX is setup for someone who weighs about 140-160lbs.

Re: Heavy Riders, KDX 220
Welcome.
Check Cannon Racecraft for some custom made fork springs for your weight. There are plenty of rates for the rear from Race tech.
Make sure you have fresh oil in there to keep it working as it should.
