How long is the stock spacer?

How much preload was on the springs?

I don't have the stock spacers but parts listing says 90mm for the oem. I didnt spend much time measuring as my arthritis flared trying to compress/hold springs to remove the cap. I would say offhand 85/95mm of pre load give or take and the springs aren't marked but are very heavy. Also way to much oil. A reverse hardtail maybe?

My '97 KDX220 factory spring was 476mm. Total internal capacity was apx 538mm. So with your setup I would guess it's at around 87mm of preload?

I am thinking stock spacers are 90 mm too. Unless you want to check spring rate, it is possible to cut them down and just run no spacers, just a washer.
