Rm 125 Valve stack missing shims?

Post by Silverfox »

So I removed the base valve to change the oil and it just doesn't look right. I would post pics but, that's too advanced for me. Starting from the nut I can see the cup, a spring then what looks like one large shim, the piston then 2 large shims and finally 4 small shims that are small in diameter. Anyone know what the stack looks like on a 98 rm 125?

I have not got mine apart yet. I went to my dealer to get a service manual and the 1998 RM 125 shows up side down forks. The 1997 manual show the conventional forks. Not sure whats going on with that? :?

I bought a manual from Techspark online and it shows the same procedure for 96-00. I find it hard to find anything for the 96-98.
